Real durability through real weather. We’re especially well-suited for projects where details and execution matter, and you want a team that can make performance repeatable, not aspirational.

Most of our work is in Maine and the broader Northeast. If your project is outside our typical build area, there are still ways to work together. Depending on the scope, we may be able to deliver a high-performance shell and coordinate with your local team for the remainder, or collaborate more selectively based on fit and logistics.

Sometimes, yes. The key question is whether the design can support the performance goals without forcing compromises. We’ll review the drawings with an eye toward the enclosure, window strategy, details, and systems. In many cases, we can adapt an existing design. In others, we’ll recommend targeted revisions so the home performs the way you expect.

We can do either. Some clients want a complete design-build experience. Others want a GO Logic shell. A high-performance shell includes the parts of the home that most determine comfort and durability. From there, you can continue with GO Logic or work with a trusted local builder, depending on your location and goals.

It’s a practical working session. We’ll talk about your site, your priorities, your timeline, and your budget comfort range. If you have surveys, a rough program, inspiration images, or early plans, bring them. If you don’t, that’s fine too. The goal is to clarify fit and outline a smart next step.

Both. We can lead design in-house, or we can collaborate with an architect you’ve chosen. What stays consistent either way is the performance lens. We make sure the design supports airtightness, insulation continuity, window strategy, and buildable details from the start.

We work as an integrated team. Your architect leads the design intent. We bring enclosure detailing, constructability, and performance coordination. That typically means early alignment on massing, glazing, rooflines, and junction details, plus clear handoffs between design, shop drawings, and field execution.

PANELIZATION AND CONSTRUCTION APPROACH

Panelized means we build key wall and roof assemblies in a controlled shop environment, then assemble them on site. It’s not the same as modular, where large volumetric boxes arrive nearly complete. Panelization preserves design flexibility while improving quality control, reducing waste, and tightening execution on the enclosure.

Typically, major enclosure components are built in the shop. The exact split depends on design and logistics. The goal is to do repeatable, precision work where conditions are controlled, then move efficiently on site for assembly, integration, and finishes.

No. If anything, it helps you pursue design goals with more confidence because details are planned and executed consistently. Like any method, it benefits from clarity. Extremely complex forms can be done, but they may reduce the efficiency gains. We’ll help you find the sweet spot.

It can shorten the on-site enclosure phase and reduce weather risk during critical steps. It also supports tighter tolerances and more consistent detailing. Because material handling is more controlled, waste and rework often drop. The bigger win is predictability.
PREFORMANCE AND BUILDING SCIENCE

It means the house feels steady. Rooms hold temperature. Drafts disappear. Noise drops. Fresh air is continuous, not random. And because the enclosure is doing most of the work, the mechanical systems can be simpler and quieter.

A continuous air barrier, careful sealing at junctions, and high-quality windows and doors installed correctly. Noise and drafts usually come from gaps and pressure differences. When the enclosure is airtight and insulated well, the house stops “leaking” sound and air.

INDOOR AIR QUALITY, HEALTH, AND COMFORT

We use balanced mechanical ventilation designed to bring in filtered fresh air in a controlled way. Instead of relying on random leaks, the home gets consistent ventilation. Done right, you get better air quality and steady comfort at the same time.

RESILIENCE, DURABILITY, AND MOISTURE

We design walls as systems. That includes a clear water control layer, robust flashing, and a drainage strategy that moves water out quickly. We also pay attention to drying pathways so assemblies can recover if they ever get wet. The goal is forgiving details, not fragile ones.

ENERGY, SOLAR, AND ELECTRIFICATION

Solar can be a great fit, especially once the home’s energy demand is low. The right time to decide is during design, when we can plan roof geometry, orientation, and any shading. We’ll also talk about your goals. Backup. Net-zero. Lower bills. Those are different targets.

That can mean efficient heat pumps, simpler distribution, and fewer combustion-related concerns. Operating costs depend on rates and usage, but comfort tends to improve when systems are right-sized and the enclosure is doing its job.
SYSTEMS, MAINTENANCE, AND LIVING IN THE HOME

We don’t hand you keys and disappear. We walk you through how the home breathes, heats, cools, and manages humidity. Maintenance is typically straightforward. Filter changes, basic check-ins, and a clear understanding of how to run the systems as intended. The goal is confidence, not complexity.
