GO Logic was commissioned in 2013 to design and construct the Warren Woods Ecology Field Station and Cabins for the University of Chicago. Completed in the spring of 2014, the field station is the first Passive House certified laboratory in North America.

GO Logic developed a design concept for a small off the grid field station for the Hurricane Island Foundation, located on a remote, 138-acre island a dozen miles off the coast in Penobscot Bay.

TerraHaus Student Residence Hall



TerraHaus is a 2,100 square-foot student residence hall built on Maine’s Unity College campus. Completed in 2011, TerraHaus is the first Passive House–certified residence hall in North America, and was awarded a 2012 AIA New England Design Award, 2012 Evergreen Award from Eco-Structure magazine, EcoHome’s Grand Award, and a Builders Choice award from Builder Magazine.

Waterfall Arts Energyplus Renovation



Waterfall Arts is a community arts organization, housed in a 16,371 square-foot, three-story brick building, built in 1935. Through a matching grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, GO Logic was commissioned to conduct a thorough cost and energy analysis of the building, and generate a design strategy to solve an existing lack of thermal performance and public accessibility.
